As a CFD and thermal engineering intern, you will be at the heart of technical and operational activities. You will join the team at a crucial stage in the company's development : the prototyping of the full-scale propulsion concept. Working directly with the CTO and our technical team, you will contribute to the mechanical design of key subsystems, while addressing cross-functional issues related to integration, performance and industrialisation.

Your main responsibilities :

You will contribute to:

  • Designing and optimising heat exchangers, taking into account the specific constraints of the aeronautical environment.
  • Performing energy assessments and conducting thermo-hydraulic analyses using analytical tools and/or CFD simulations.
  • Integrating multi-physical constraints: mechanical, aerodynamic, vibratory and environmental constraints.
  • Conduct supplier benchmarks.
  • Participate in the drafting of technical documents: specifications, calculation notes, simulation reports, specifications, validation files, etc.

Profile sought :

  • Preferably a student in their final year of an engineering school or Master's degree specialising in fluid mechanics, thermal engineering or energy engineering.
  • Ideally with some initial experience in aeronautics.

Required skills and qualities :

  • Proficiency in CAD (3DX) and CFD (Ansys Fluent) modelling software
  • Theoretical knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and thermal engineering
  • Rigorous, analytical mind and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with a variety of people
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
