As a CFD and thermal engineering intern, you will be at the heart of technical and operational activities. You will join the team at a crucial stage in the company's development : the prototyping of the full-scale propulsion concept. Working directly with the CTO and our technical team, you will contribute to the mechanical design of key subsystems, while addressing cross-functional issues related to integration, performance and industrialisation.
Your main responsibilities :
You will contribute to:
- Designing and optimising heat exchangers, taking into account the specific constraints of the aeronautical environment.
- Performing energy assessments and conducting thermo-hydraulic analyses using analytical tools and/or CFD simulations.
- Integrating multi-physical constraints: mechanical, aerodynamic, vibratory and environmental constraints.
- Conduct supplier benchmarks.
- Participate in the drafting of technical documents: specifications, calculation notes, simulation reports, specifications, validation files, etc.
Profile sought :
- Preferably a student in their final year of an engineering school or Master's degree specialising in fluid mechanics, thermal engineering or energy engineering.
- Ideally with some initial experience in aeronautics.
Required skills and qualities :
- Proficiency in CAD (3DX) and CFD (Ansys Fluent) modelling software
- Theoretical knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and thermal engineering
- Rigorous, analytical mind and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with a variety of people
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
